Support for Communities of All Abilities
The Dare to Create Foundation for the Arts believes that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone in our community.
Through scholarships, inclusive programming, and community partnerships, the foundation helps expand access to dance and creative movement for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Dance has been shown to support physical health, emotional well-being, confidence, and social connection. For many participants, the studio becomes a place where they can explore creativity, build friendships, and develop a strong sense of belonging.
Our programs are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, creating opportunities for individuals who may face barriers to participating in the arts, including financial limitations, disabilities, or limited access to arts programming in rural communities.
Through the foundation’s support, dancers are able to participate in meaningful artistic experiences that promote creativity, personal growth, and community connection.
By investing in inclusive arts opportunities, we help ensure that the performing arts remain accessible to individuals of all abilities.
How We Support Our Community
The foundation helps support community access to the arts through:
• tuition scholarships for youth and adults
• inclusive arts opportunities for individuals of all abilities
• artist development opportunities for dedicated dancers
• community performances and outreach programs
• partnerships with local schools and community organizations
These initiatives help ensure that individuals in rural communities have opportunities to participate in and experience the performing arts.
